How To Draw A Dog Collar
So i’m getting a new puppy from the shelter?
for my 18th birthday in august. 
I’m really excited. We have two other dogs so I know how to take care of dogs and stuff. But It’s been 4 years since I last had a puppy and I’m not sure if I’m remembering everything I need to buy.
I know I need:
Toys
Vet
Collar
Leash
City license
Brushes
but after that I draw a blank, am I forgettin anything?
We have one of those automatic feeder things and multiple water dishes around the house. So I won’t need that. And there is also multiple blankets around the house for the dogs to lay on. I don’t believe in crate training so I won’t need a crate.
The essentials are: collar and tag, leash, crate, food and water bowls, a high quality dog food (check out dogfoodanalysis.com), a few toys, and it’s a good idea to invest in a good dog training book. Don’t go overboard with fancy accessories and things that he doesn’t really need, but DO make sure you set aside enough money to cover his medical care. A puppy’s most expensive costs are going to come from taking him to the vet and keeping him current on his vaccines, but those are things that he can’t go without.
